Frequently Asked Questions

Can I self-refer?
No. Referrals must be sent by a GP, Medical Consultant or a mental health professional (public or private) who is currently working with the client.

Do you review persons under the age of 18?
No. Dr. Bambury only reviews adults aged 18 and over. However, a 17 year old can be referred and an appointment date can be scheduled for after the patients 18th birthday.

How long will I have to wait before being seen, and is there a cancellation list?
At the time of referral the you will be advised of the wait time. A cancellation list is also available, and clients can request to be added to this list.
